If you're reading this because an affair has shaken your marriage, I'm truly sorry. The pain of betrayal can leave you feeling overwhelmed, confused, angry, and unsure whether your relationship can survive.
One of the most common questions I hear in my office is, "Can our marriage recover from an affair?" My answer is often, yes—it can. While every couple's situation is different, I have seen many marriages heal when both spouses are willing to do the difficult work of rebuilding trust. Recovery doesn't happen overnight. It requires honesty, accountability, patience, and a safe place to have the hard conversations that are often impossible to have at home. In counseling, my goal is to help each person feel heard while guiding you toward understanding, forgiveness when appropriate, and a healthier relationship moving forward. An affair does not have to be the end of your marriage. With commitment, the right support, and a willingness to work through the hurt together, healing is possible. If your marriage has been affected by infidelity, you don't have to face it alone. I'd be honored to walk alongside you as you begin the journey toward healing and rebuilding your relationship.
